In business since 1989, Architectural Accents has grown into the premier supplier of radius millwork in the Chicago area.  In 1996 we designed and built a 10,000 square foot shop, showroom, and office yielding a pleasant and efficient workplace.

We have perfected a method to economically produce a one piece curved molding with no cross grain seams that virtually eliminates visible glue lines.  We realign the strips in the order they were cut, recreating the natural grain pattern in the finished molding.  The use of modern adhesives produces a tight, trouble free glue line that is difficult to detect when finished even under today’s light and natural finishes.  The striped mismatched look of mass produced laminated moldings and the multi-seam butcher block look of segmented moldings are eliminated at Architectural Accents.  The natural beauty of the wood is all that you see.
